Powerbuilder Programmer

  • Develop, test and maintain system applications written in PowerBuilder
  • Attend to system enhancements requests
  • Assists in the documentation of functional and technical specifications and in creation of user’s manual for in-house developed application.
  • Perform database queries for ad hoc reports and other related reports as needed
  • Performs user support for internal and external users (partners) as needed
  • Helps in the implementation of systems developed in-house and those that are outsourced and purchased.
  • Train and assist end users in using the system for their respective functions

Functional Competency Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering
  • At least 1 to 3 years experience in handling the same position
  • Experienced in PowerBuilder 7.0, 11.5
  • Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server Technology
  • Adept knowledge in T-SQL Scripting
  • Background with Finance or remittance products or services is an advantage but is not required
