Product and Brand Officer

The Product and Brand Officer focuses on the core products and services of I-Remit, Inc. He/She is mainly responsible for making plans and strategies to best communicate the products and services of I-Remit to its intended market. The position calls for an astute market planning and strategy implementation for successful market penetration. He/She is responsible for crafting, developing, monitoring, and as required, implementing key strategies on product development, brand management, advertising and promotions with the objective of winning new and retaining old customers.

Functional Competency Requirements:

  • University degree in marketing, business administration, or economics
  • With degree in postgraduate studies in business or equivalent work experience (advantage)
  • Five (5) years minimum experience in hands-on marketing position gained from financial institutions and or remittance companies
  • Must be knowledgeable on the different remittance products and services
  • Immense knowledge in competitor's products and services.
  • Advance level in key areas of marketing; Strategic and tactical thinker; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing programs
  • Must be self-motivated and results-driven
  • Must have the keen sense to identify marketing opportunities and the courage to take advantage of such opportunities
  • Must have persuasive, diplomatic, social and interpersonal skills to win market and client support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to monitor and evaluate brand equity by establishing a system that would enable managers to evolve the brand, and address the changes in the market
  • Must be able to seek continuous competitive differentiation by constantly introducing new products and improving the old
  • Must maintain brand identity in all marketing communications by meeting the brand guidelines
  • Hardworking and is willing to work on extended hours
  • Creative, can think out of the box
