I-Remit, Incorporated (iRemit) the largest non-bank Filipino owned remittance company expanded its base of pickup centers and have teamed up with Maybank Philippines to offer alternative remittance pick-up stations for Overseas Filipinos’ beneficiaries in the Philippines.
"We are delighted with our partnership with Maybank. Remittance services are becoming more competitive this year. Given this reality, we are moving fast to further improve our customer service. With the bank’s extensive network nationwide, this will help us achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction by providing additional channels for remittance pick –up," said Harris Jacildo, I-Remit president and COO.
Under the agreement, the bank will allow the beneficiaries of overseas Filipinos (OFs) to claim remittances from any Maybank branches nationwide.

Maybank, the first foreign commercial bank licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, with an extensive network of branches across the country, provides a wide range of financial services to meet the needs of the retail and business segments.

Currently, iRemit listed four thousand payout stations to cater the remittances originating from its foreign offices to their designated beneficiaries in the Philippines. In a separate report, the company forged the same agreement with PSBank the thrift-bank arm of the Metrobank Group.
